i mean, I tried installing mullvad on my laptop and it wasn’t quite as smooth as I was hoping. The download itself was fine, but the app got stuck the first time and I ended up having to restart twice. Logging in with the account number is simple enough, but the setup still felt a little confusing. It did work in the end, but it took more messing around than something like this really should

I’ve used a few VPNs before and always had that little uneasy feeling in the back of my mind, like I was just hoping they were doing what they claimed. With this one, seeing the audits made me feel a lot more comfortable. It reminded me of finally locking the door at night and being able to relax. So far it’s been a good VPN, and the audits seem legit enough to make me trust it more.

I was still seeing ads on quite a few sites, and a couple pages either loaded strangely or didn’t work right when it was turned on. I get that no ad blocker catches everything, but I ended up still needing other tools anyway, so it just wasn’t really worth it for me.
